About
Outing Club is dedicated to bringing students together through thrilling outdoor adventures and experiences. Whether you're an avid hiker, an expert paddler, or someone looking to try something new, we have something for everyone!
Throughout the school year, we host free day and night outdoor trips in the greater Amherst area, including hiking, canoeing, skiing, and paintball. New trips are always in the works, so let us know if you have an idea! You can even run your own trip, with the support of Outing Club E-Board.
In the basement of Jearns, check out our gear locker, where you can borrow equipment for your own personal outdoor adventures or for an Outing Club trip! We've got medical kits, fishing poles, skiis, tents, warm clothing, kites, and more.
Plus, join us for campfires where we roast s'mores, listen to music, and get to know one another! Or, try out one of our workshops on outdoor skills, including skills like bird watching, knot tying, or sanctuary trail maintenance!
